Sacred Rebels: Unveiling the Mystical Connection Between Jesus Christ and King Akhenaten

'A Journey to the Central Sun – Excerpt from Awakened Soul

In 2003, during a powerful meditation guided by Yeshua, I was led to a place my soul immediately recognized—what is often called the Central Sun, or perhaps more accurately, the Great Central Sun. Whether that name is exact, I can’t say for sure. What I *can* say is this: the journey profoundly affected me.

At the same time, I was also immersed in memories surfacing from lifetimes in Ancient Egypt—particularly one connected to the enigmatic King Akhenaten. His presence began to appear during my meditations, and I felt a stirring familiarity in my soul. The more I pondered on these experiences, the more I began to question: Was this journey to the Central Sun guided not just by Yeshua… but by Akhenaten as well? Or—and this is a question that took years to form—could they, in some way, be one and the same essence expressing in different timelines?

To understand the gravity of that question, let’s briefly look at Akhenaten’s place in history.

Who Was Akhenaten?

King Akhenaten (Amenhotep IV), who ruled during Egypt’s 18th dynasty (1353–1336 BC), was no ordinary Pharaoh. He radically altered Egypt’s religious landscape by replacing the traditional pantheon of gods with the worship of one divine source—Aten, the sun disc. His reign was marked by unprecedented spiritual and artistic shifts. Yet, after his death, his successors attempted to erase his legacy entirely. He was dubbed "the criminal" by later rulers… and yet, modern historians now refer to him as *history’s first individual*.

This spiritual rebel, this luminous visionary, began to feel incredibly familiar to me.

It wasn't until many years later that I bean to understand why Akhenaten was also present in my life. I began seeing parallels between Akhenaten’s reign and the earthly ministry of Jesus Christ—Yeshua, my Beloved Guide. The similarities were striking and undeniable:

**Parallels Between Akhenaten and Yeshua**

**1. Radical Spiritual Reformers**

* Akhenaten introduced a form of monotheism centered around Aten.

* Jesus proclaimed the message of one God and taught a direct, personal relationship with the Divine.

**Similarity**: Both challenged the prevailing religious norms with a revolutionary spiritual vision anchored in One Source.

**2. Rejected and Persecuted by Religious Authorities**

* Akhenaten's reforms were labeled heresy and erased posthumously.

* Jesus was condemned for blasphemy and crucified.

**Similarity**: Both faced severe opposition for challenging the status quo.

**3. Builders of a New Spiritual Paradigm**

* Akhenaten established Amarna, a city dedicated to Aten.

* Jesus spoke of the Kingdom of Heaven—a realm not of stone and mortar, but of the soul.

**Similarity**: Both planted seeds of a new sacred order, one physical, the other metaphysical.

**4. Teachers Through Mystical Language**

* Akhenaten’s Great Hymn to the Aten is poetic and symbolic.

* Jesus used parables filled with metaphor and light.

**Similarity**: Both offered divine truths through language meant to awaken the spirit.

**5. Sacred Roles of Family**

* Akhenaten's sacred art highlighted his family with unprecedented reverence.

* Jesus called his followers family and uplifted the bond of spiritual kinship.

**Similarity**: Both emphasized family—whether blood or spirit—as central to divine connection.

**6. Suppressed Yet Resurrected**

* Akhenaten’s memory was buried, only to be rediscovered centuries later.

* Jesus’ teachings endured and became a foundation of global faith.

**Similarity**: Their messages outlived their lifetimes, rising from rejection to reverence.

**The Divine Feminine in Their Stories**

And then there’s this—the sacred women who stood by their side.

**Nefertiti & Mary Magdalene**

Both Nefertiti and Mary Magdalene held positions of profound spiritual authority and partnership.

**- Elevated Roles:**

Nefertiti participated in sacred rituals and may have co-ruled Egypt.

Mary Magdalene, in Gnostic texts, is described as Jesus’ closest companion and a teacher in her own right.

**- Representation in Sacred Art & Texts:**

Nefertiti was depicted in religious scenes alongside Akhenaten.

Mary was present at the crucifixion, resurrection, and—some say—instructed others in the teachings of Christ.

**- Enduring Legacy:**

Nefertiti may have taken on the role of Pharaoh after Akhenaten’s death.

Mary Magdalene’s legacy continues to evolve—symbol of devotion, redemption, and hidden wisdom.

**A Sacred Thread Through Time**

The echoes between these lives—Akhenaten and Yeshua, Nefertiti and Mary Magdalene—speak to something deeper. A thread of sacred transformation and divine remembrance moving through time. Were they distinct souls? Expressions of the same divine spark? Twin flames echoing across the ages?

Perhaps that is not for us to answer—but to feel.
